STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — No one was injured during a fire at a home on McPadden Drive in Stratford on Friday afternoon, according to fire officials.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the outside of the home and extinguished the blaze. All occupants were able to safely exit the home, fire officials said.

The Stratford Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire and The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.

The fire occurred at approximately 2:49 p.m. and 22 firefighters responded to the scene, along with Stratford EMS.
