MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that took place in Cordova Friday evening.

At 5:40 p.m., detectives found a man dead inside a vehicle in a parking lot on the 1900 block of Berryhill Road, at the intersection with Chimneyrock Blvd.

The man was pronounced deceased on the scene by Shelby County Fire paramedics from a gunshot wound. There are no suspects in custody at this time.
