BERTIE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Bertie County sheriff’s office says one person has been arrested after a search of a store turned up drugs and counterfeit items.

Sheriff Tyrone Ruffin says they seized more than 2.2 pounds of marijuana, other THC products, and counterfeit goods at Z-Tobacco & Vape at 111 US Hwy 13 Bypass in Windsor.

They charged 25-year-old Ali Rayed Rafiq Zokari of Washington with five offenses, including possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and selling of counterfeit trademark goods.
