BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Drier air filtering in from the north will produce some noticeable changes in our weather over the next several days.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK
Rain chances will see a noticeable drop as drier air filters in from the north. Plenty of heat remains in place, though, with highs in the low to mid 90s.
SATURDAY RAIN CHANCES
There will be a north-to-south gradient of rain chances on Saturday, a complement of the southward-moving dry air. Best rain chances will be for areas closer to the coast, with diminishing chances inland.

Instead of a ‘cool’ front, a better description of this weekend’s boundary might be a ‘dry’ front.
The drier air will have two primary impacts: reduced rain chances and lower humidity. The heat index won’t be bad at all by late August stan
