HONOLULU (Island News) – The whole island is invited for a special night dedicated to the Island Reggae icon George Veikoso “Fiji” who passed away on July 23, 2025.

It was announced on Thursday morning that an “A Hui Hou” tribute concert was officially slated for September 13 at the Waikiki Shell and Kapiolani Park.

Some of the biggest Hawaii musicians will be performing to celebrate Fiji’s legacy and his impact on the industry in the islands.

Concertgoers can catch artists such as J Boog, Common Kings, Maoli, The Green, Josh Tatofi, Kapena, Ekolu, Spawnbreezie, and so much more. The event will be hosted by Island News’ own Davey D and Lina Girl, as well as Big Koa, BigBodyCisco, and Mikey Monis.
