SEGUIN, Texas — The Seguin Police Department has arrested a 17-year-old and his mother after he allegedly pulled out a gun during a jewelry sale before leaving the scene with his mom.
On Aug. 20, officers responded to the 2200 block of Louise Street after receiving reports of an aggravated robbery.
Upon arrival, the victim told police he had agreed to sell some jewelry to Devon Buehrer, 17. During the exchange, Buehrer’s mother 38-year-old Jaquita Medrano was also present and actively involved in the crime, according to police.
The victim said Buehrer pulled out a gun and threatened him if he didn't hand over the jewelry.
After the robbery, the two suspects left the scene and the victim called 911.
