FARGO — The Fargo Air Museum has debuted its newest exhibit, showcasing the history of the Navy Blue Angels in Fargo.

The exhibit is called “The First in the Fight.” Artifacts in the exhibit date back to World War I.

Fargo native Brian Kesselring is also featured, displaying some of the equipment he wore as an air boss with the Blue Angels from 2019 to 2022. Kesselring is still actively serving in Japan as a deputy commander for the U.S. Navy.

Museum representatives say they hope the exhibit helps visitors find a sense of pride in Fargo’s role in important naval affairs around the world.

“With this display showing the technical skills required to do what the Blue Angels do, it’s only going to get the kids’ imaginations fired up for their future,” said Dustin Andersen, assistant collect
