Bad form continues for Christian Coleman. To start with, he did not qualify for the Worlds at the USATF championships. In the 100m, he had one of the best athletes of this season, Kenny Bednarek, who clocked 9.79, while Coleman clocked 9.86s to finish 5th. Then there was the 200m, where his indoor rival, Noah Lyles, outran him and all in 19.63s. Coleman was 6th in that race with a time of 20.02s.

And then he announced that he was coming to the Brussels Diamond League. Now, the good thing here for Coleman was that nobody else showed. No Kenny, No Noah, No Courtney Lindsey, or T’Mars McCallum to outrun him. Yet a European stood in his way.
