The New York State Police has confirmed the number of fatalities following the tour bus crash in upstate New York on Friday, Aug. 22.

In a statement released on Friday, Aug. 22, the NYSP said that 54 people — ranging between ages 1 and 74 — were on board, and five people were killed. The remaining 49 people were injured and taken to the local hospitals. No one's identity has been publicly revealed.
