Before he takes the field he hopes to flip, Buffalo Bills punter Brad Robbins pulls out a small notebook. It helps him stay confident in his new approach to the game, and it helps him commit to a punt before he leaves the sideline.

“I’ve made my own punting yardage book,” Robbins told The Buffalo News. “So, I have a yardage book on what shots I want to use on different places on the field that I keep with me.”

Robbins got the idea from golfing.

“I’ve never seen any punters do it,” Robbins said. “So, I bought a little notebook and drew a football field on it, and I labeled, like, what shot would be what?”

Robbins, 26, signed with the Bills in late March. He was drafted in 2023 in the sixth round by the Cincinnati Bengals, and he spent his rookie season with them, averaging 44.3 yards pe
