GRAND FORKS — Buddy Kofoid has raced at River Cities Speedway only five times. The way it's going for the California driver, he'll keep coming back.
Kofoid stormed from the ninth starting spot to win the 40-lap World of Outlaws feature Friday night at River Cities Speedway — a victory that paid the Penngrove, Calif., driver $12,000.
Kofoid swept the two WoO races at RCS this season, becoming only the third driver to win two features in a row at The Bullring. Donny Schatz and Craig Dollansky are the other two drivers to accomplish that feat as the Outlaws wrapped up their 35th visit to RCS.
