The Israel Defense Forces on Friday struck a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the area of Deir Kifa in Southern Lebanon, the military said.

The IDF described the facility’s presence as a “violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces killed a Hezbollah terrorist involved in efforts to rebuild infrastructure sites in the area of Ayta ash Shab in Southern Lebanon, according to the military.

On Thursday, the IDF eliminated a member of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan commando force who was operating in the Deir Seryan area of southeastern Lebanon. The strike came a day after the military targeted weapons depots, a rocket launcher and other assets belonging to the Iranian-backed group in Lebanon.
