The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Roosevelt man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:43 PM in Atlantic Beach. According to Detectives, defendant James Watson, 63, while working as an Uber Driver threatened a 30-year-old female victim by displaying a handgun and refused to let her enter his vehicle in the vicinity of 2035 Ocean Boulevard. Fearing for her safety, the victim canceled the ride and defendant Watson fled the scene. Officers located the defendant near the intersection of Nassau Expressway and Park Street where they initiated a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop.
