Scots star Bob MacIntyre signed off his PGA term in solid style at the Tour Championship. ‌

The Oban ace fired a final-day 69 at East Lake to end his round in the Top 20 of the FedEx Cup finale. ‌

MacIntyre’s excellent work through the regular season landed him a spot in Atlanta and, although he didn’t get the title he craved, his forward momentum was maintained. ‌

The 29-year-old made a superb start to the end-of-US-season showpiece with rounds of 64 and 66 pushing him amongst the pacesetters at the halfway stage.

The Scottish hero’s hopes of the crown were extinguished when he faltered during Saturday’s third round and a 72 dropped him out of realistic contention when it came to winning the tournament.
