Scots star Bob MacIntyre signed off his PGA term in solid style at the Tour Championship.
The Oban ace fired a final-day 69 at East Lake to end his round in the Top 20 of the FedEx Cup finale.
MacIntyre’s excellent work through the regular season landed him a spot in Atlanta and, although he didn’t get the title he craved, his forward momentum was maintained.
The 29-year-old made a superb start to the end-of-US-season showpiece with rounds of 64 and 66 pushing him amongst the pacesetters at the halfway stage.
