The Boston region is in for a seasonably warm and mostly sunny week ahead, according to National Weather Service forecasts.

“This week is shaping up to be pretty nice, pretty seasonable,” said NWS meteorologist Kyle Pederson. “For temperatures, highs look like they’re going to be in the low 80s tomorrow, and then the rest of the week, they’re going to be sitting in the mid 70s.”

Monday may be the warmest day of the week, NWS forecasts show, with a high in the low 80s. The start of the week is also forecasted to partly sunny and see patchy fog through the early morning, NWS states.

A chance of showers is expected to remain through Monday, with a chance of thunderstorms rolling in in the afternoon, NWS forecasts.
