A man is facing wanton endangerment and criminal mischief charges after he used a piece of construction equipment to overturn several vehicles at a business in Cave City on Saturday.
Seventy-six-year-old Roy Spiker was at Treasure Trove Park in Cave City gathering some of his belongings after an “ongoing civil dispute” over the park when he “snapped,” Cave City Police Chief Paul Reynolds said, and used a park's skid steer to flip over several vehicles and damage fencing in the park's animal enclosure.
Spiker then allegedly began driving the skid steer towards a house on the property. The person in the house fired a weapon at the skid steer, believing Spiker was going to drive through the building. No shots hit Spiker, but some of the glass reportedly cut him.
