Wichita, Kan. (KAKE) - A drive-by shooting in central Wichita has injured two people, one critically.
Police say about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, officers received a call that an apparent shooting victim had walked into the QuikTrip at Douglas and Seneca. Investigators told KAKE News that the shooting started as some sort of fight or argument in the area around the Wichita Boathouse involving an ex-boyfriend of one of the victims. That's when police said the suspect started shooting at the two in their truck, hitting them inside. Police say the two drove to the QuikTrip for help.
