Sullivan Park hosts 69th annual salmon BBQ and dance in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Spokane Valley's Sullivan Park hosted the 69th annual Salmon Barbeque and Square Dance night.

The event by the Western Dance Center continued a cherished tradition that has thrived for nearly seven decades.

Organizers shared stories of the event's beginnings, reminiscing about its early days when the events were held at the old Natorium Park in Spokane.
