Earlier this month, Team Norfolk Boxing traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to compete in the 2025 Ringside King of the Jungle National Championship Tournament — and returned home with championship titles in hand.

The spotlight belonged to two rising stars from the team: 11th grader Alexander Potter and 8th grader Ezra Scott. Both athletes delivered standout performances on the national stage, solidifying their status as champions and leaving their mark on the tournament.

Potter entered the competition as an underdog, primarily due to his smaller size compared to his opponent. Despite the odds, he embraced the challenge and rose to the occasion, securing a win through grit and determination.
