Tommy Fleetwood finally claimed his maiden PGA Tour title as ge emerged victorious at the Tour Championship to be crowned 2025 FedEx Cup champion.
The 34-year-old, who recorded six runner-ups and 44 top-10 finishes before winning in America, was classy throughout the four days in Atlanta as he won by three shots.
His nearest rivals were Americans Russell Henley and Patrick Cantlay but Fleetwood held his nerve to par the last three holes and close out an emotional win.
The triumph at East Lake Golf Club sees Fleetwood bank a whopping $10million (£7.4m) as he claims his first PGA Tour title at the 164th attempt.
Southport-born Fleetwood has long been a household name in the sport and was runner-up at the US Open in 2018, but none of his eight professional wins had occurred in America.
