Last year, the West Jersey Football League Constitution Division wasn’t decided until a soggy Thanksgiving day. Holy Spirit (10-2, 4-0) clinched the title with a 37-8 win over rival Atlantic City. Both teams entered the game unbeaten in division play.
While defending the title won’t be easy, Holy Spirit returns a solid nucleus, led by a strong group of skill position players. The Spartans welcome back six starters on offense, including quarterback Ty Costabile, who could rank among the better ones in South Jersey. The defense welcomes back four starters, including junior linebacker Freddy Marczyk, who had six sacks.
Don’t be surprised if Atlantic City (8-4, 3-1) is again challenging for a title, but a key for the Vikings is replacing graduated quarterback Khajuan Roseborough, a Courier-
