Mostly sunny and mostly hot for Monday before much cooler air comes

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) -

Most of the ArkLaTex is hanging around with a sunny, hot summer day for Monday. There are just a few of us in the northern edge of the region north of I-30 that have a chance for afternoon and nighttime storms today. High temperatures reach into the mid 90’s for most with the upper 80’s for the northern edge of the ArkLaTex. The morning begins in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s.

It’s a similar outlook for Tuesday with mostly sunny and dry conditions for the bulk of the region. Those along & north of I-30 though still hold another day with a chance for some storms. High temperatures do look to drop a good bit with high’s in the mid to upper 80’s for most of the ArkLaTex. A few areas in the northern edge of the region might only have high’s in the 70’s though.
