COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A cold front sweeps through the area as we start the workweek and that will knock most of the humidity out of the air by late Monday and for the next few days. It will be a little cooler, too.

Mainly sunny, dry and a bit breezy on this Monday. It will still be on the hot side with highs in the upper 80s north with near 90 to just above 90 degree temperatures elsewhere. This will be our hottest day of the week. It will turn less humid from north to south as the afternoon and evening progresses.

Clear Monday night with a few clouds toward daybreak. Noticeably cooler early Tuesday with lows mostly between 60 and 65 degrees; some of the coolest spots, especially north, could dip into the upper 50s.
