COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Lt. Governor Jim Tressel, alongside Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Director Stephen D. Dackin, announced the launch of the "Team Tressel Fitness Challenge" for students in grades 4-8 across the state.

The challenge officially begins on Sept. 8 for students who opt in.

According to officials, the initiative is part of Gov. Mike DeWine’s efforts to promote healthier lifestyles in Ohio, encouraging students to develop habits in fitness, nutrition, and sleep through individual goal setting. A total of 635 schools have joined the challenge, impacting over 160,000 students.
