The City of Kelowna is reviewing proposals from three companies interested in managing Prospera Place when ownership of the downtown rink transfers to the municipality in 2029.

One of the three submissions is from GSL Group, the company that currently owns and operates the rink, and has done so since it opened in 1999.

Another proposal came from Oak View Group, a U.S.-based firm with 50,000 employees that operates 400 venues around the world, including Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle and Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg.

The third submission is from ASM Global, based in Los Angeles. Its venues include the Superdome, other stadiums used by NFL teams, as well as baseball stadiums and hockey arenas.
