A TEENAGE boy has died after reportedly eating three packs of uncooked instant noodles.

The 13-year-old suffered severe stomach pains, sweating and vomiting just 30 minutes after he finished eating the deadly snacks , according to local media.

The unidentified teen from Cairo, Egypt , passed away shortly after his sickness started to cause concerns for his family .

It was first feared that the noodles had been poisoned or could have been tainted before the boy consumed them.

Police even questioned the shopkeeper who sold them to the teen over concerns he didn't adhere to the proper safety standards.

Testing and an autopsy on the boy later confirmed that the products were not laced.

He death is believed to have been a result of acute intestinal problems or digestive obstruction
