Maybe you can speak a little bit to the important role that the Franciscan Festival of Fine Arts and events like it play in borderland communities, specifically.

Father Tom Smith:

The Franciscans, through history, 800 years of history, have supported the arts. And I think it helps people to appreciate art as a part, a significant part of life, that it's not just going from one task to another, but being able to view art or participate in it, or show it.
