The stolen parts can sell for as much as $4,000.
The Macomb County Sherrif's Office has investigated 87 reports of stolen Ram truck infotainment screens since February 2025, according to police.
Infotainment screens and devices can include car controls for the radio, air conditioning and other settings as well as the screen that displays them.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office said two suspects have emerged after a surveillance detail observed the pair actively breaking into vehicles in Oakland County on Aug. 21. The Detroit Police Department and Oakland County Sheriff's Office Auto Theft Unit assisted the Macomb Auto Theft Squad to take the suspects into custody, according to a post by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office on Facebook.
