JACKSON TWP. – The Timken Co. has named Lucian Boldea, a Honeywell executive, as its new president and CEO.
The global engineered bearings and industrial motion company announced on Aug. 25 that Boldea was appointed by its board of directors. He will start on Sept. 1 and succeed Richard G. Kyle, who has been serving as the interim executive since Tarak B. Mehta stepped down in March.
Mehta, the former president and CEO for seven months, and Timken " elected to part ways " when personal matters prevented Mehta from relocating to Timken's headquarters, according to a company spokesman.
Boldea recently purchased a residential property in Lake Township, according to Stark County property records. He is currently the president and CEO of Honeywell Industrial Automation .
