The Chargers got a visit from a former Super Bowl MVP on their final day of training camp .

Wide receiver Julian Edelman was on hand as the Bolts closed off their camp practices last week, getting a chance to see the team up close ahead of the regular season.

The 11-year veteran, who is now a member of the media, said part of his reason for his visit was because he wanted to get a firsthand view of the team ahead of what he believes is an exciting year for Jim Harbaugh’s squad.

"You want to see where that leap is going to go after making the playoffs in the first year," Edelman told Chargers.com . "Getting more of the type of players he wants in his system, his scheme, his building is always a huge jump when a coach is coming in."
