Snoop Dogg is facing backlash after he criticized LGBTQ+ representation in children's movies, per Newsweek .

During a recent appearance on the "It's Giving" podcast, Snoop recalled being "thrown for a loop" after taking his grandson to a screening of Disney's 2022 animated film Lightyear , which depicts a same-sex couple raising a child.

"Well, my grandson, in the middle of the movie is like, 'Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She's a woman!'" he said. "I'm like, scared to go to the movies. Y’all throwing me in the middle of s* that I don't have an answer for."**
