There was no shortage of smiles or enthusiasm as the Missouri Southern State University softball team and Miracle League players gathered to share the game they love Saturday at Pat Lipira Field.
The Miracle League offers children and adults with disabilities a chance to play baseball in a six-week season each spring, but they got a little extra playing time the past two years as MSSU softball players shared their time and talents to give the Miracle Leaguers yet another chance to play ball. ×
