(WCIV) — The average price of gas rose slightly in the past week, matching a similar rise in gas prices nationally, according to GasBuddy price reports.
Gas prices rose 2.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging at about $2.47 per gallon Monday, GasBuddy’s survey of 3,028 South Carolina stations reports. Despite the minimal rise, these prices are still 4.8 cents lower than a month ago and a total of 16 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
Price reports state that the cheapest surveyed station in South Carolina was priced at $2.43 per gallon Sunday while the most expensive was near double that at $3.89 per gallon.
