BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Idaho’s average wages increased by $1.35 per hour in 2024, with the average hourly wage being $28.10, according to a release from the Idaho Department of Labor.

Additionally, the midpoint between the lowest and highest wages rose from $21.27 to $22.34 per hour in 2024.

Among Idaho’s regions, Pocatello had the highest increase, with both the average and middle wages going up by over $2 per hour. Overall, six out of seven Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) experienced wage growth. Notably, Southwest Idaho had the highest hourly wage in 2024 at $29.40 and the highest median wage at $22.88 per hour.
