The son of “Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus was arrested and charged after an alleged assault in New York City on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Mingus Reedus, 25, was charged with third-degree assault, assault recklessly causing injury, criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree harassment and aggravated harassment, court records show. He pleaded not guilty on all five counts Aug. 23.

The New York Police Department said Mingus Reedus was arrested after officers responded to an assault in progress in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Upon arrival, police found a woman, 33, with “minor injuries to the neck and leg.” The woman was transported to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.
