PHOENIX — A massive dust storm is moving through the Valley Monday evening.

A Dust Storm Warning is in effect until 5:45 p.m. for Avondale, Goodyear, Phoenix and Mesa.

If you are driving where dust is blowing, you should pull off the road and turn off your lights. Then wait for the dust to pass.

There is also a Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Queen Creek and Chandler Heights until 6:00 p.m.

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Yuma, Somerton and Gadsden until 8:30 p.m.

"An active day is anticipated across the region, ranging from flash flooding threats across the southern and western areas to blowing dust impacts for the south-central lower deserts late this afternoon and into this evening," a post on X read .
