One person was seriously injured after an accidental cooking fire broke out Monday morning in an apartment building in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood.

The American Red Cross said in a statement on Monday that it was helping about a dozen people affected by the fire inside the “multifamily residence,” including with emergency shelter, food and clothing.
