A news reader running her own YouTube channel has been booked for allegedly assaulting a traffic warden after he issued a Rs 2,000 challan to her relative for a helmet violation in Multan on Monday.

According to a First Information Report (FIR) registered at Sabzazar Police Station, Traffic Warden Muhammad Zarif Ahmad was carrying out his duties when he stopped a motorcycle for violating helmet laws.

The rider, identified as Allah Dittah, was fined Rs2,000 for not wearing a helmet. Following the incident, Dittah reportedly threatened the officer, saying, “Stay here, I’ll be back and won’t spare you.”
