(NewsNation) — Lil Nas X has been charged with four felonies after he allegedly injured police officers when he was found naked roaming the streets in Los Angele’s Studio City neighborhood, according to NBC News.

Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, charged Los Angeles Police Department officers when they approached him early on Thursday, according to authorities.

When officers arrived, they said the "Old Town Road" performer charged at them and was taken into custody.

Police said the rapper was transported to a nearby hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer.
