Waffle House, the iconic Southern diner founded in 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia , is celebrating its 70th anniversary with limited-time menu items, giveaways, and a rare open house at its original location, now a museum.

On August 24th, Waffle House rolled out a limited-time birthday waffle across select locations: a festive golden stack baked with birthday cake bites, topped with confetti crunch and whipped cream, according to Southern Living .
