SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Uranus' new moon which happens to be about the size of San Angelo moon, has been discovered on Feb. 2, 2025, and announced later in August of 2025.
After the hearing about the announcement, CVHP reached out to Angelo State University's Planetarium Director Kenneth Carrell to find out some interesting facts about this new moon.
Discovery
In recent years with more powerful telescopes and instruments, quite a few new moons have been discovered in our solar system reported Carrell.
