The union, which represents 55,000 workers, did not provide a new date for when negotiations might resume. This cancellation marks the second time in the past week that Canada Post has postponed discussions, citing the need for more time to analyze the union's offers.

Earlier this month, the union voted to reject the employer's latest proposals, stating that they did not adequately address the needs of its members. As a result, the union has continued its national ban on overtime.

In response, Canada Post has reiterated its commitment to the collective bargaining process and its goal of reaching an agreement with the union.
