Officials cut ribbon at new Quonset defense technology facility

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE)– Rhode Island officials celebrated the opening of a new manufacturing facility for Anduril Industries at Quonset Point.

The facility will largely be used to quickly build and produce unmanned underwater vehicles used by the Navy.

In total, the facility spans 150,000 square feet, and officials say it will provide at least 100 new jobs over the next five years.
