WARREN You may recall when 21 News reported on a multi-million-dollar tax mistake that affected thousands of farmers in Trumbull County.
Now, the Trumbull County Auditor's Office says most affected people have gotten their refunds, there are still some who haven't and need to take action in order to get it.
During the tax years of 2020 through 2022, there was an error in the application of Current Agricultural Use Value (CAUV) soil values in more than 2,000 parcels, causing some people to pay more or less than what they actually owed.
The majority who overpaid did get refunds, but there are nearly 500 parcels that still have not because the Auditor's Office does not have an address for the owners.
In an effort to find those owners, the Auditor's Office has created a page listing
