Trent Grisham has undoubtedly been the most pleasant surprise of the New York Yankees' season.

A year removed from being the proverbial throw-in in the Juan Soto blockbuster trade, it's Grisham who has been an impact outfielder in pinstripes. He's been so good New York has to deeply regret keeping him on the bench for the duration of its playoff run last October.

There's a catch, though. Grisham is headed to free agency this winter, and the Yankees not only have plenty of outfield talent returning, but they have another current outfielder also headed to the open market who probably will take priority over the two-time Gold Glover.
