Two teenagers are now charged with attempted murder in relation to a shooting that happened earlier this month in Iowa City.

On Friday, the Iowa City Police Department announced the arrest of Moayed E. Elsid, 17, of Iowa City, who is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm as a felon in connection with the Aug. 3 shooting .

The Friday news release also stated another juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm as a felon, but did not identify the juvenile because that charge is not a forcible felony.
