HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) - Gov. Josh Shapiro said he believes lawmakers "are close" on finalizing the overdue state budget.
"This was a busy weekend," Shapiro said during a press conference Monday afternoon.
The governor, who is up for re-election next November, said he believes "some are playing politics to hurt me politically" during the budget talks.
Major issues in this year's budget have included spending for education and mass transit, as well as the issues of marijuana and skill games.
