Yella Beezy 's trial on murder-for-hire charges is scheduled to begin Feb. 2, 2026, his attorney, Toby Shook, said Monday.
The hearing to announce the multi-platinum recording artist's trial date was supposed to happen Monday, but the judge's absence pushed it back to Friday. In the meantime, Shook said he and state prosecutors have signed an agreement setting the trial for February.
The 33-year-old multi-platinum Dallas rapper, born Markies Conway, was arrested in Dallas County on March 20 on a warrant issued for his arrest in the 2020 killing of rapper Mo3. Prosecutors allege Beezy hired Kewon White and Devin Maurice Brown to murder Mo3, born Melvin Noble, in exchange for payment.
He was released from Dallas County Jail on March 28 after his bond was reduced from $2 million to $7
