FRANKLIN, Ky. – A boil water advisory is in effect for some residents of Franklin.
This follows reported water line damage on Monday, which crews are working to repair.
The advisory is in effect for residents that live on Edgar Street, Johnson Street, the 800 block of West Madison Street and The PADS Apartment Complex.
The city says the Kentucky Division of Water has been notified.
Water samples will be taken to the lab on Tuesday morning for testing. Once the samples pass, the Kentucky Division of Water will lift the boil water advisory, according to officials.
