FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WKOW) — Detectives from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a teacher from the Plymouth School District on allegations of sexual assault involving a former student.

The 40-year-old teacher was arrested on Monday, according to a press release.

Capt. Chris Randall, of the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, said detectives developed probable cause leading to the arrest of the teacher, who is identified as a woman.

Randall said the incidents occurred while the victim was a student and took place in Fond du Lac County.

The teacher has been booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail.

Randall said no interviews or further information would be released on Monday.
